Puerto Plata to welcome 52 cruise ships in April – Dominican Republic
Atahualpa Paulino, the Northern Regional Director of Tourism in the Northern zone, has announced that Puerto Plata will welcome a total of 52 cruise ships during April 2024.
This influx of cruise ships solidifies Puerto Plata as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Caribbean, according to Paulino.
“Out of these 52 ships, 22 will dock at Amber Cove, while Taino Bay will receive the remaining 30, showcasing the capacity of both ports to accommodate a large number of cruise passengers,” he stated.
