Aranui Offers More Australs and Goes Back to Bora Bora in 2024
French Polynesian cargo cruise line Aranui Cruises has released its 2024 program including a return to Bora Bora and more Discovery cruises taking guests to far-flung corners of the region.
On sale now, the 2024 program features 23 scheduled cruises around the South Pacific on Aranui 5, a 125-metre mixed freight and passenger vessel which offers one of the few remaining cargo-cruise experiences in the world.
In line with Aranui’s freight operations, most (20) of the cruises are 12-day roundtrip itineraries from Papeete to the six inhabited Marquesas Islands – Nuku Hiva, Ua Pou, Ua Huka, Tahuata, Fatu Hiva and Hiva Oa – where Aranui 5 delivers cargo while guests disembark and explore the remote ports on a range of included excursions such as hikes, 4WD tours, local feasts and visits to archaeological sites.
