One Ocean Expeditions Expands Summer 2017 Cruises to Canada’s Atlantic Coast
The popularity of One Ocean Expeditions (OOE) Fins and Fiddles expedition cruise to the islands of Canada’s Atlantic coast has increased significantly since becoming part of Destination Canada’s prestigious Signature Experience Collection (SEC) earlier this summer.

Activities include sea kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, on-shore guided hiking and bicycle touring; meetings with locals in remote fishing communities and educational seminars on marine wildlife, photography and Canadian history with a particular focus on Canada’s 150th anniversary. – Labrador & Torngats Explorer OOE has introduced a brand new itinerary into their 2017 summer schedule. The new 10-night Labrador & Torngats Explorer 15-25 July 2017 will sail along the rugged coastline of Labrador and further north into the higher Arctic latitudes of Baffin Island. The trip includes a visit to the jewel in the crown of Canada’s National Park network – Torngat Mountains National Park – home to the highest mountains in Canada, east of the Rockies. The voyage links several historic locations including the Viking settlement at L’Anse aux Meadows, a French-built fortress, remote mission locations and isolated fishing ports. Travellers will have access to wildlife and scenery in remote fjords only accessible by the small ships operated by OOE.
