‘Rock The Boat Uk’ Debuts With Legends Of Rock N’ Roll. Cruiseco announces the launch of a brand new themed cruise

Celebrity EclipseCruiseco, the leading supplier of worldwide cruising options, is delighted to announce the launch of a brand new rock ‘n roll themed cruise – ‘Rock the Boat’.

After five successful years’ operating in Australia, Rock the Boat is now making its debut in the UK, welcoming renowned rock artists to entertain travellers for three nights onboard Celebrity Eclipse, departing from Southampton on 30 September 2016.

Featuring a star-studded line-up, this cruise will sail to Belgium and France. Along the way, not only will guests be able to see their favourite artists perform their original, classic hits, they will also be able to meet them face-to-face. The inaugural Rock the Boat UK will welcome many renowned bands including Gerry & the Pacemakers, The Searchers, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, The Mersey Beats, and Brian Poole & Chip Hawkes, plus many more.

Guests onboard will be joined by famed British rock groups and artists including:
 Gerry & the Pacemakers, who burst out of the gates with three consecutive number one UK hits in 1963;
 The iconic Searchers group, about to celebrate its fiftieth year in the pop music industry and was made famous by hits such as ‘Love Potion no. 9’, ‘Someday We’re Gonna Love Again’ and ‘Sugar & Spice’;
 Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, who took home six consecutive gold records and sold more records in 1968 than any other artist, including the Beatles;
 The Mersey Beats, who just released a new album in 2015 and first made a name for themselves in 1963 with ‘It’s Love That Really Counts’, before going on to appear with the Beatles more than any other artist; and
 Brian Poole & Chip Hawkes, who are the lead singers with the Tremeloes and enjoyed multimillion selling records including ‘Twist & Shout’, ‘Do You Love Me’ and ‘Silence is Golden’.

Rock the Boat departs from Southampton on 30 September 2016, sailing to Bruges in Belgium and Cherbourg in France, before returning to Southampton on 3 October 2016. Prices start from £550 per person, based on twin share for an Inside cabin. Fares include: a 3-night cruise onboard Celebrity Eclipse; all meals, entertainment and onboard gratuities; port charges; and government taxes.
