Norwegian Breakaway at New OrleansAn estimated 200 cruise passengers were stuck in New Orleans after the Norwegian Breakaway was forced to divert to Louisiana on Tuesday morning because of Hurricane Dorian. The cruise was originally scheduled to return to Miami on Sunday, but due to the storm, the ship altered course and diverted to New Orleans, where passengers are claiming they have been left without transportation, food or water. Cruise Ship Party Blasts Music From Outer Space, Makes Ibiza Residents Angry

A non-stop, loud and rave music party on a cruise ship near Ibiza Island in Spain left the local community furious and they complained to the City Council and Port authorities over the disturbance. The cruise ship Norwegian Pearl had docked for a 12-hour rave party on the party island. According to cruise news, the ship was owned by Disco Cruise Liner and housed 3,000 party-goers. In a statement shared with Fox News, the cruise line explained that on July 1 the ship “experienced a mechanical issue which necessitates that she travel at a reduced speed. As such, she did not call to Palma, Majorca, and instead sailed directly to Barcelona where further assessments were made.” (foxnews.com)
