MV WERFTEN continues its great trainee offensive: 105 new apprentices and 12 dual-system students began their professional training at the shipbuilding group today. The fifth Rhine-class river ship for Crystal River Cruises has been handed over at MV Werften in Wismar, Germany. She joins the fleet one month after her sister ship, Crystal Debussy. Crystal Ravel embarks on May 10 from Basel to Vienna, and sails itineraries along the Rhine, Danube, Main and Moselle rivers.

Crystal Cruises took deliver of its second newbuild river ship from MV Werften during a hand-over ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 20. MV Werften has delivered what it is calling the world’s most luxurious river vessel, the Crystal Bach, which is the first in a series of four Rhine-class river ships being built for Crystal.
