The plate-cutting ceremony was held today at the Marghera shipyard for the “Seabourn Encore”, the first of two ultra-luxury cruise ships that Fincantieri will build for Seabourn, brand of Carnival Corporation.
“Le Lyrial”, a super luxury cruise ship ordered to Fincantieri by the French cruise line Ponant (Bridgepoint Group), was launched today at the Ancona shipyard. (themeditelegraph.com)
Construction on the ship was originally scheduled to be finished on February 16, 2016, but has now been pushed back to March 31, 2016. The ship is being built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy. (cruisecritic.com)
