Genting Dream – Hong Kong’s first ‘cruise to nowhere’

Singapore-Based Cruise Ships Temporarily Reduce Capacity, Stop Sit Down Dining

The measures will be in force between July 22 and Aug. 18. That means reduced capacity and no sit down dining in restaurants aboard the Quantum of the Seas from Royal Caribbean and the World Dream from Dream Cruises. (cruiseindustrynews.com)

Nearly 3,000 guests, crew disembark cruise in Singapore after positive Covid case left them confined in cabins

The World Dream arriving at Singapore (Courtesy Genting Cruise Lines, October 2020)Nearly 3,000 passengers and crew are disembarking a Dream Cruises ship on Wednesday after being confined in their cabins when a passenger tested positive for Covid-19. All passengers and crew aboard the three-night World Dream “cruise to nowhere” in Singapore had been required to isolate in their cabins, with only essential crew members being allowed to move throughout the ship. World Dream cruise sets sail after passenger on Royal Caribbean ship tests positive for COVID-19

The departure of Dream Cruises’ World Dream cruise went ahead on Wednesday (Dec 9) evening, after a passenger on board another cruise by Royal Caribbean tested positive for COVID-19. Dream Cruises said its ship would leave ahead of schedule on Wednesday in order to facilitate the earlier disembarkation of the Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas ship. (channelnewsasia.com)
