World cruise bookings surge 20% as cruisers embrace slow travel

More travelers are signing up for multi-month world cruise journeys as demand for immersive, slow travel grows and Starlink internet makes working during a cruise a real possibility for the not-yet-retired.

One of the largest independent luxury travel agencies in the U.S., Pavlus Travel & Cruise, is reporting a more than 20% jump in world cruise bookings in 2026 versus 2025.
