Havila Voyages is among the first brands to be awarded the prestigious ‘Made in Norway’ trademark as part of Innovation Norway’s new government back project.
The company is now eligible use the trademark in its marketing, both nationally and internationally.
The Norwegian owned Havila Voyages has been awarded the official “Made in Norway” origin mark by Innovation Norway, following an application process that includes strict criteria regarding Norwegian origin and value creation, as well as commitments to sustainability and product quality. This ensures that the highest standards of Norwegian quality are maintained under the new origin mark. The certification mark is designed to enhance Norwegian companies’ competitiveness in the international market.

Havila Voyages not only creates jobs within the company but also plays a key role for small and large suppliers throughout Norway.

Made in Norway is a protected trademark for marketing, meant to strengthen the position of Norwegian products and solutions in international markets.
The labelling scheme is part of the reform “Hele Norge Eksporterer”, initiated by the government to increase Norway’s international competitiveness.
When you see the Made in Norway label, you can be sure that the product or solution is mainly developed and manufactured in Norway and follows given requirements for responsibility and sustainability.
Innovation Norway administers the scheme.
A common origin label will create synergies, where companies that succeed internationally with the label on their products will have a positive impact on other Made in Norway companies.
