I adore river cruising. I constantly recommend river cruises to viewers and followers, but for weeks, low water levels in Europe and their effect on river cruising have been all anyone has asked me about.
This video I took on the Rhine in early August illustrates the plain truth: river cruising is facing an industry-changing crisis due to climate change. For at least five years in a row, low water levels have disrupted high-summer river cruising.
