Antarctica21 and Leica Partner to Elevate the Antarctic Air-Cruise Experience
Leica’s renowned sport optics arrive across the Antarctica21 fleet, and at Explorers House in Punta Arenas, beginning with the 2026-27 season.
Antarctica21, the pioneer of the Antarctic air-cruise, and Leica are proud to unveil a strategic partnership that elevates the Antarctic air-cruise experience.
The collaboration brings Leica’s renowned sport optics and imaging expertise across the Antarctica21 fleet, aboard both Magellan Explorer and the new Magellan Discoverer, and at Explorers House, the company’s expedition center in Punta Arenas.
Beginning with the 2026-27 season, guests aboard both Magellan Explorer and Magellan Discoverer will enjoy a curated Leica experience, featuring premium binoculars, spotting scopes, and selected imaging products available for use throughout the expedition. A dedicated Leica corner, on board and at Explorers House, will showcase equipment carefully chosen for expedition travel and wildlife observation, with select pieces available to purchase.
Whether spotting a humpback whale from the observation deck or observing a wandering albatross above the ship’s wake, guests will see the wild reaches of the Seventh Continent with remarkable clarity.
