The cruise line will not be making stops at its private destination, Labadee, even further into 2027 due to the current unsafe conditions in Haiti. The extension comes after Royal Caribbean first canceled all stops to Labadee until Jan. 14, 2027, according to Travel + Leisure.

A Royal Caribbean spokesperson confirmed in a statement to PEOPLE that the company will now “extend the suspension of ship calls to Labadee through June 2027.”

The decision comes amid the cruise line’s continuous evaluation of conditions in Haiti and its “ability to deliver the best vacations responsibly.”
