Agents Tick Off Truly Amazing Bucket List Experiences with Heritage Expeditions

Heritage Expeditions' Heritage Adventurer (October 2022)A select group of leading Australian travel advisers have described their famil with Heritage Expeditions as a bucket list-ticking, truly amazing experience.

The hand-selected group of high-performing advisers joined Heritage Expeditions on its Asian Island Odyssey voyage island hopping through paradise aboard the company’s 140-guest flagship, Heritage Adventurer.

Travelling through the remote islands of the Philippines and Indonesia, the special guests were hosted by Heritage Expeditions Australian Sales Manager Chris le Roux and praised the authentic expedition experience and unforgettable destinations synonymous with Australasia’s only family-owned and operated expedition cruise company.

“This voyage with Heritage Expeditions took us to some of the most remote and breathtaking corners of the Philippines and Indonesia – places that still feel wild, untouched and incredibly special,” said Danielle Burroughs from Expedition Partners.

“I’ve definitely ticked off another bucket-list experience!”

Main Beach Travel’s Vicki Carmichael agreed, saying it was “a journey full of first experiences, from swimming with whale sharks and stingless jellyfish to encountering green sea turtles, sea snakes, rare wildlife and heartfelt welcomes from remote island communities.”

“This expedition was as enriching culturally as it was spectacular environmentally,” she said.

Lori Burns at Globe Trotter Travel summed up her adventure with Heritage Expeditions as being a “truly amazing experience”.

“From the warm, family-run hospitality and dedicated crew to the loyal guests who make each day one to remember, then there are the unique shore excursions, Zodiac cruises, snorkelling, hiking, birding, kayaking and visiting villages with friendly locals.”

Exploring some of the most biodiverse regions on Earth, Asian Island Odyssey visits isolated islands home to an extraordinary array of rare and endemic wildlife, as well as rich histories, diverse cultures and enduring traditions.

Their remote locations, far from mainstream tourism, have helped preserve both their natural environments and cultural heritage, making them perfect for exploration by expedition ship.

Heritage Expeditions’ South Pacific voyages range from 14 to 19 days and operate through the remote regions of Indonesia, Melanesia, Micronesia, the Philippines and Borneo, giving travel advisers the opportunity to craft unforgettable pre- or post-voyage extensions for their clients.
