Buffalo Cruise Terminal construction to begin in August
The Erie Canal Development Corporation says Phase 1 of the Buffalo Cruise Terminal construction project will begin next month.
As part of the first phase of construction, crews will repair seawall and guardrails at the Outer Harbor’s Slip 2 parcel on Fuhrmann Boulevard.
The site will house services including, customs inspections and public restroom facilities.
In order to prepare for the arrivals of cruise ships and passengers, upgrades have been made to seawall shoring, and a multi-use path, promenade and sunset point with seating, landscaping, drainage, lighting and a small parking lot have been added.
