Viking Announces New Experiences for European River Cruises
Viking is set to expand its range of shore excursions and land extensions on the cruise line’s European river voyages.
The new experiences include Zeppelin airship excursions over the Ruhr Valley and Cologne in Germany; dinner at the Nikolaihof Winery in Austria’s Wachau Valley; a sights and flavors tour of Belgrade; a visit and wine tasting at Slovakia’s Red Stone Castle; and Christmas-time culinary tours of Rouen and Berlin.
The cruise line is also introducing a series of Small Group Experiences designed to offer passengers intimate and immersive ways to explore iconic landmarks and local culture.
Options include tours of the Palace of Versailles, Schönbrunn Palace, Český Krumlov, Bratislava and the French village of Colmar.
