Corazul Cancels European Debut, Will Launch in Brazil Instead

Corazul Cruceros has cancelled its planned Mediterranean debut with the Buenavista and will instead launch its first commercial season in Brazil in 2026-27.

Cruise Industry News reported earlier this week the company was facing challenges in its planned start up.

All European departures scheduled for 2026 will be cancelled as a result, the company said. Operations were slated to start in early July with the Buenavista, which is currently sailing as the Piano Land in Asia.

Corazul said the decision followed a review of global market trends and distribution data that pointed to South America as the stronger market for its launch.
