Hundreds quarantine on cruise as passenger dies following gastroenteritis outbreak
More than 1,700 passengers aboard the Ambassador Cruise Line ship known as the Ambition have been confined in Bordeaux as an elderly passenger died following a gastroenteritis outbreak.
Hundreds of passengers on a cruise ship have been forced to quarantine after an elderly passenger died following a gastroenteritis outbreak. As many as 49 people have reported symptoms of the highly contagious virus on board the vessel, which is currently docked in Bordeaux.
