Cruise line just banned popular gadget from certain areas on its ships
Royal Caribbean quietly updated its list of prohibited items onboard the cruise ship to include a new technology.
The cruise line has added a restriction on the use of smart glasses that can record video and audio in certain areas of Royal Caribbean vessels, according to its website.
“’Smart’ glasses from any of several manufacturers that can record video and audio are not allowed to be used in certain areas onboard the ship, including, but not limited to, public restrooms, Youth Program areas, medical areas, as well as the casino,” the company said.
