Over 570,000 passengers cruised with BIRKA GOTLAND in 2025
The Baltic Sea’s only dedicated cruise ship, BIRKA GOTLAND, has completed its first full calendar year in service, with just over 570,000 passengers.
This represents an increase of 30 percent compared to 2024, when the ship only operated for three quarters of the year. Adjusted for the same traffic period (20 March–31 December), the increase is 9 per cent (38,000 passengers).
The Swedish-flagged cruise ship BIRKA GOTLAND, which departs from Stockholm, has visited the destinations Mariehamn, Visby, the High Coast, Ystad, Bornholm and Riga in 2025.
