Preview: Victoria Cruise Lines’ New Victoria Isabella
Later this month, Victoria Cruise Lines will debut its newest vessel, Victoria Isabella.
The 570-guest, electric-hybrid riverboat will sail the Yangtze River, joining sister ship Victoria Sabrina, which launched in 2020.
Victoria Isabella is the world’s largest river cruise ship, according to the line. Measuring in at 17,000 gross tons, Victoria Isabella will be the region’s latest five-star vessel.
“While U.S. passengers to China remain down from pre-pandemic levels, we are encouraged by a number of indicators that show the market is poised for a comeback, including a game-changing program which allows Americans to visit for up to ten days without requiring a visa,” said Benson Wu, president of Victoria Cruise Lines.
