Seatrade Europe 2025 Set to Break Records as Hamburg Hosts Cruise Industry’s Premier Event
From 10–12 September, Hamburg will become the hub of the international cruise community as Seatrade Europe 2025 prepares for its largest and most impactful edition yet.
The event will features over 250 exhibiting companies, more than 3,500 expected attendees from 90 countries, and a top-tier conference programme with 120+ leading industry speakers.
Record Numbers, Key Highlights and Global Industry Presence
New for 2025, the Tech Zone and Newcomers Boulevard will bring a wealth of fresh ideas, with more than one percent of exhibitors making their Seatrade Europe debut. The popular Destination Discovery Zone returns, featuring over a dozen new destinations – many from outside Europe – reflecting the industry’s continued global expansion.
Executives from more than 70 cruise line brands will gather in Hamburg to meet new suppliers, connect with existing partners, and strengthen their market knowledge. Keynote speakers include Charles “Bud” Darr (President & CEO, CLIA) and Maive Rute (European Commission). Also in attendance will be the 14 Seatrade Cruise Brand Ambassadors – respected industry figures and official event advocates.
With a record 168 entries, the Seatrade Cruise Awards – sponsored by Lloyd’s Register and Oracle Hospitality – will celebrate outstanding achievements in the global cruise sector on 10 September.
New features for travel agents and cruise enthusiasts
◉ Travel Agent Days (11–12 September)
Travel agents can enjoy free access to the exhibition and the popular Cruise Night on Thursday evening – made possible through a partnership with fvw|TravelTalk and supported by MSC Cruises, TUI Cruises, and Cunard. ◉ Destination Discovery Friday (12 September)
For the first time, Seatrade Europe will open its doors on Friday, 12 September, from 10:00 to 14:00 for cruise lovers. For just €5, visitors can explore new destinations, cutting-edge onboard technology, and ideas for their next dream voyage – perfectly complemented by the Hamburg Cruise Days taking place 12–14 September 2025. A total of 500 tickets are available and can be booked online via the Ticketshop.
