VIVA Cruises introduces brand new river cruises from Berlin to Stralsund, ending in Copenhagen
In 2026 European river cruise specialist, VIVA Cruises, will be introducing exclusive journeys on VIVA RUBY departing from Berlin for the first time, with a unique three-day stay in Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen.
Prices start at just £2,695 per person including VIVA’s signature All-Inclusive product.
The elevated, stylish ship, VIVA RUBY, will set sail on four dates in July and August 2026 for ten-day journeys via Oranienburg (Germany), Szczecin, Usedom (Poland) and Wolgast towards the UNESCO World Heritage site of Stralsund (Germany). Guests will then travel via special transfer to Copenhagen for a three-day city trip, staying in a 4-star design hotel.
The price includes: the ferry crossing from Germany to Denmark, onward transfer to Copenhagen and breakfast at the hotel in Copenhagen. There is also a city pass for unlimited travel on buses, trains, metro and entry into world famous attractions such as the Tivoli Gardens.
Exceptional travel experience
VIVA RUBY has been fully modernised and accommodates up to 80 guests. “Our cultural ship, VIVA RUBY, now reflects our modern design aesthetic after extensive renovations and is clearly recognisable as part of the VIVA Cruises fleet,” explains Andrea Kruse, CEO of VIVA Cruises.
As part of the modernisation, eight new suites have been added – all with French balconies – offering an elevated experience.
