Princess cancels at least a dozen cruise ship voyages from Galveston. The line is reportedly changing its “deployment strategy”
Despite what some major news outlets think, especially if they’re coming from (cue the cowboys sitting around the bonfire) New York City, Galveston is a major player in the cruise ship game.
In fact, for the last five decades the busy port has been teeming with Hawaiian-shirt-wearing passengers either starting or on their Caribbean excursions. Over the last 25 years, more and more cruise lines have made Galveston a priority.
But one cruise line is going to take a break from the port.
