Hundreds ‘vomiting’ with ‘diarrhea’ from cruise ship norovirus outbreak

Several guests and crew members on two separate ships have contracted the unpleasant illness amid their voyages, according to the CDC.

More than 225 passengers across two separate luxury cruise lines have contracted norovirus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Scores of guests and crew members on Cunard’s flagship Queen Mary 2 and Seven of Seabourn Encore’s ships have come down with the illness amid their current voyages. Those who have contracted the unpleasant illness have reported gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting, abdominal cramping and diarrhea.
