Port Sultan Qaboos, Oman, to be developed as cruise hub
The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology (MTCIT) has signed an agreement to conduct a feasibility study for the development of Port Sultan Qaboos in Muttrah.
In partnership with Asyad Ports, the study will focus on both the operational and commercial aspects of the port, aiming to enhance its infrastructure and support its role as a major hub for cruise tourism and trade in Oman.
Under the agreement, the Asyad Ports will prepare a detailed feasibility study and the submission of a development plan addressing key operational and commercial upgrades.
