Cruise ship Ventura to get deep clean after norovirus spread
Health officials are working closely with the owners of a cruise liner following a norovirus outbreak.
Several people onboard P&O Cruises’ Ventura suffered from sickness and diarrhoea.
The ship – which left Southampton for the Canary Islands on May 11 – will return to the city tomorrow before setting sail again. Passengers boarding the cruise liner will face delays to allow for a ‘fire-break’ of up to seven hours following disembarkation.
