Carnival Paradise Rescues 28 People Adrift At Sea
Yesterday at approximately 2:30pm LT, Carnival Paradise, while en route from Tampa to Roatan, Honduras, rescued 28 Cuban nationals who were adrift at sea and signaling for assistance.
The bridge team onboard spotted the vessel and turned the ship around to rescue them. All were taken aboard, given food and were seen by the medical team.
The US Coast Guard Sector Key West was notified, as well as Roatan officials.
Carnival Paradise is scheduled to arrive in Honduras Today, Mon., April 22.
