Riviera River Cruises Removes Single Supplement on Rhine, Rhône Departures
In order to offer more options for solo travelers this year, Riviera River Cruises has removed its single supplement from select departures of four Rhine and Rhône River itineraries. More than 500 cabins are now available supplement-free for solo travelers in August and October.
The move represents a 185 percent increase in supplement-free cabin availability across the departures.
“Traditionally, we’ve offered a small number of cabins single supplement-free on each of our European river cruise departures, in addition to our dedicated solo traveler cruises,” said Marilyn Conroy, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing North America for Riviera River Cruises. “This August and October, we’re going further by offering more than 500 cabins supplement-free on a handful of Rhine and Rhône River itineraries. We know that demand for solo travel is increasing, and removing supplements on these departures will ensure even more travelers can experience the beauty of these waterways.”
The cruises with supplement-free cabins include:
> Rhine, Strasbourg & Heidelberg River Cruise: Eight days with eight visits and tours, starting at $2,449.
> Rhine & Moselle River Cruise: Eight days with seven visits and tours, starting at $2,599.
> Rhine Cruise to Switzerland: Eight days with seven visits and tours, starting at $2,399.
> Burgundy, the River Rhône & Provence River Cruise: Eight days with seven visits and tours, starting at $1,999.
Single supplement-free cabins are excluded from other promotions.
