VIVA Cruises and Cruise Plus forge partnership to expand booking opportunities for travel agents
European river cruise specialist, VIVA Cruises, has signed a groundbreaking agreement with Gold Medal’s sister brand, Cruise Plus.
The partnership means that travel agents across the UK will now be able to book VIVA Cruises’ itineraries through the Cruise Plus Contact Centre.
The agreement signifies a significant milestone for both VIVA Cruises and Cruise Plus, as it combines VIVA Cruises’ expertise in delivering pleasant river cruise experiences with Cruise Plus’ extensive network and innovative booking solutions. Whether it’s exploring the enchanting Rhine, discovering the cultural gems along the Danube, or embarking on a romantic voyage through the Seine, travel agents will now be able to easily book one of the many VIVA Cruises itineraries for their clients.
Andrea Kruse, CEO of VIVA Cruises, expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership: “This collaboration with Cruise Plus marks an exciting chapter for VIVA Cruises. The partnership announcement was made at the CLIA RiverView Conference, taking place in Amsterdam 11-13 March. VIVA Cruises participated in the event through its first new build, VIVA ONE.
VIVA Cruises was founded in 2018 as the first in house tour operator of Swiss shipping company, Scylla AG. Since then, it has grown rapidly and now boasts an eight-ship fleet sailing on major European rivers, including VIVA ONE and VIVA TWO – their two very own build ships; with the third one, VIVA ENJOY, launching at the end of this year. VIVA Cruises has also recently announced new Douro itineraries on board new built ship, PORTO MIRANTE, from May 2025.
