Largest cruise ship in the world docks at Mahahual, Mexico
Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas, currently the largest cruise ship in the world, docked at Mahahual Tuesday with 7,600 passengers.
The 365-meter-long 20-deck ship docked at the Grand Costa Maya dock in Mahahual Tuesday morning on its Maiden Voyage from Miami.
“The arrival of the Icon of the Seas is a testimony of Quintana Roo’s determination in the recovery of cruise tourism, which was tested with the challenges of recent years, and which today, has significant growth and development,” said Governor Mara Lezama who met the ship in Mahahual.
