Disney Cruise Line Updates Placeholder Payment Policy
Since Disney Cruise Line introduced placeholder reservations years ago, guests have been required to pay for any additional deposit amount at the same time they select an actual sail date.
Effective immediately, when guests select a sail date for a placeholder reservation, they will now have the standard 3-day hold period to pay any additional deposit amounts owed.
If the full deposit amount is not paid by its due date, the reservation will be canceled, and any onboard offer benefits received when the placeholder reservation was booked will be forfeited.
