Coral Expeditions Releases New Expedition Atlas for 2024-25

Coral Expeditions (Logo)Coral Expeditions, Australia’s pioneering cruise line, has just released their newly published Expedition Atlas, a comprehensive guide that highlights all voyages set to sail in 2023, 2024 and 2025 and gives insight into our unique Australian expedition ethos that sets us apart in the industry.

Now in our 40th year of operation, we have an enticing program that features immersive adventures in Australia’s coastal wilderness areas such as the Kimberley, Cape York and Arnhem Land, outer Great Barrier Reef and Tasmania along with more scheduled departures in the increasingly popular Abrolhos and Coral Coast of Western Australia and through the Wild Islands of South Australia. Our team have created an engaging print magazine and digital version that offers detailed insights into the destinations, maps outlining sailing routes, and authentic excerpts from Expedition Leaders and Guest Lecturers that truly depict the joy of being on expedition.

Also presented on our growing list of international explorations are the hard-to-reach tropical regions that surround Australia. With our new blue water fleet, we are broadening our horizons to explore some of the most remote and untouched coastal regions on our “Small Islands of the World” series including Papua New Guinea, Raja Ampat and the Spice Islands and New Zealand.

New destinations that feature heavily include the second-year extension of the high-demand Japan and Philippines series that is presently underway, including the sold-out voyage “Through the Heart of Japan“.

Also featured is a newly developed series “Island of The East Indies,” offering a range of new itineraries including ‘An Equatorial Adventure Across North Borneo,” “Circumnavigation of Sumatra,” and “Into the Wilds of Borneo.”

These itineraries are designed to explore remote islands, immerse travellers in traditional villages and provide opportunities for encounters with unique wildlife. They can be enjoyed as a single voyage or to be booked together as an adjoining series for the more intrepid explorers seeking a travel experience of a lifetime.

The launch and release of the Expedition Atlas was coordinated across our fleet and coincided with the Coral Expeditions roadshow of events held in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne in September. These events marked a significant milestone as they celebrated the 40th anniversary of operations for the company and reconnected our team with our loyal Xplorers’ Club guests for the first time in many years.

“The release of our expedition Atlas is an exciting time that involves the whole business. It has been a rewarding and enjoyable month reconnecting with many of our most loyal guests and travel agency partners” said commercial director Jeff Gillies. “There is nothing like being in each other’s company again. Our guests look to us to offer new and enriching experiences and we are focused on developing pioneering new itineraries that capture their imagination and inspire them to continue their never-ending curiosity for the natural and cultural world around them.”

The Expeditions Atlas is now available to everyone via the Coral Expeditions website.
