‘We are making progress’: Work continues to increase Yarmouth cruise ship visits

The Yarmouth and Acadian Shores Tourism Association (YASTA) says it is continuing to build relationships with cruise lines and other partners to increase cruise ship visitation to the port of Yarmouth.

On Oct. 5, the port saw visitation from the Silver Endeavour. The vessel anchored at the mouth of Yarmouth harbour near the Cape Forchu Lighthouse. Passengers were transported by zodiac tenders to the Killam Brothers Marina and in Yarmouth guests experienced a local lobster lunch, heritage walking tours, and a brewery tour.
