Bar Harbor disbands cruise ship committee, saying it’s no longer needed

The Bar Harbor Town Council is considering changing how it approaches tourism. This comes after disbanding its cruise ship committee.

According to Bangor Daily News, councilors agreed Bar Harbor no longer needed a committee dedicated to cruise ship tourism.

The committee was originally formed to make recommendations on the cruise industry’s growth in the town, but council members say it outlived its purpose.
