Flights, theme parks and cruises all affected as Tropical Storm Idalia nears Florida

Tropical Storm Idalia is expected to intensify into a major hurricane in the next few days before coming ashore out of the Gulf of Mexico onto Florida’s west coast before proceeding north over Georgia and parts of the Carolinas.

The system is certain to impact travel and is already causing some airports, airlines, cruise lines and theme parks to announce operational changes.
