Port Canaveral to build two new parking garages to handle soaring passenger counts
With passenger counts soaring and new cruise ships on the way in 2024, Port Canaveral commissioners agreed Wednesday to spend more than $67 million for construction of two new northside parking garages.
They unanimously approved contracts totaling $67.46 million for an eight-level, 1,940-space garage near Cruise Terminals 5 and 6, plus a six-level, 1,081-space garage near Cruise Terminal 10.
