American Cruise Lines’ first catamaran makes debut

American Cruise Lines' 100-passenger American EagleAmerican Cruise Lines’ first 100-passenger catamaran, American Eagle, set sail on its inaugural cruise from Boston.

The ship is the first of a dozen vessels ACL has ordered to operate U.S.-centric coastal voyages. The four-deck ship was designed and built by Chesapeake Shipbuilding in Salisbury, Maryland.
