Cunard’s Queen Victoria sailed into Holyhead this weekend on its first ever visit to Wales.

The giant liner is one of 81 vessels due at Welsh ports over 2023 – with more than 50 set to arrive at Holyhead.

It will see 80,000 passengers and 39,000 crew visiting Wales, which equates to a potential passenger day spend income of £8.3 million for the Welsh economy. The Queen Victoria docked at the revamped jetty in Holyhead harbour, now owned by Stena Line.
