Heritage Expeditions to Welcome Flagship Heritage Adventurer ‘Home’ for Maiden Kiwi Voyage
Preparations are underway for pioneering New Zealand-based expedition cruise company Heritage Expeditions to welcome luxurious new flagship Heritage Adventurer ‘home’ for her maiden New Zealand voyage next week.
The iconic Kiwi cruise company’s luxurious new 140-guest purpose-built expedition vessel and will make her New Zealand debut at the Port of Tauranga where she will welcome guests on board before departing on her Kiwi maiden voyage New Zealand Coastal Odyssey on 15 November.
Directors Aaron and Nathan Russ said Heritage Adventurer’s arrival marked an exciting time for the family-owned Kiwi company which has been exploring New Zealand’s coastline with intrepid guests since 1985.
“We can’t think of a better way to celebrate Heritage Adventurer’s homecoming than with an iconic Kiwi cruise of New Zealand’s incredible coastline,” said Aaron.
Nathan agreed, adding “Aaron and I grew up exploring New Zealand’s awe-inspiring fiords, gold sand beaches, hidden coves, tranquil waterways, native forests and marine reserves and it is an incredible privilege to share these very special places aboard Heritage Adventurer.”
Dubbed the ‘Grande Dame of Expedition Cruising’ due to her expedition prowess and celebrated history, the arrival of Heritage Adventurer to Heritage Expeditions fleet announces a new chapter for the pioneering Kiwi cruise company.
“Heritage Expeditions was founded on the principles of authentic expedition cruising, however the level of comfort and sophisticated surrounds Heritage Adventurer provides allows us to also provide less adventurous options for guests interested in travelling to the incredible places we visit,” said Aaron.
