Towboat captain dies as tug sinks in Patmos, Greece
On October 21, a small ship assist tug sank while working a midsize cruise ship at the island port of Patmos, Greece. As a result the captain lost his life.
The tug Pothitos III met up with the inbound cruise ship “Azamara Journey” in a bay east of Patmos, and after a while, under uknown circumstances, it sank during a mooring operation.
