For this trip, Variety Cruises has teamed up with Tim Clarke, who’ll be leading the cruise and imparting his knowledge about Greek, where he’ll be discussing the history of Greek wines, the indigenous varieties, wine growers discussing their wines, wine tasting from areas like Chios, Evia, Crete, Ikaria.

Visits to wineries like Semeli, Gaia and Tsimbidis in the Peloponnese, Argyros in Santorini, Volacus in Tinos and the Kokotos Estate in Attica and more.

This voyage of discovery of Greek wines will follow start and end in Athens with stops in Hydra, Nafplion to visit Mycenae and the Nemea wine region famous for its red wines, Monemvasia home to the Malvasia appellation wine indigenous to the area, Milos with its amazing beaches, Santorini with its breath-taking views and Argyros winery visit, then Samos famous for its muscat wines and home to the Vakakis Winery, Tinos and the emerging star winery Volacus. While on the cruise, dinners will be paired with wines from different areas of Greece and with mini lectures given by Tim Clarke.
