Porto Chioggia welcomes Viking sky cruise ship
The Viking Sky cruise ship landed in Chioggia this morning to Isola dei Saloni with its approximately 800 passengers (mostly from the United States), most of whom will visit the lagoon city in the coming days.
Present at the quay to welcome the boat, together with the local representatives of the main institutions, the Mayor of Chioggia Mauro Armelao, the President of the AdSP of the Northern Adriatic Sea Fulvio Lino Di Blasio, the commander of the Port Authority of Chioggia CP Dario Riccobene, and the Viking Italia Vice President Enrico Prunotto.
The commander of the ship, Fredrik Nilson, and the passengers was dedicated themusical performance by the artists of the Palio della Marciliana, the historical re-enactment event that will animate the city starting this evening.
