Riviera River Cruises (Logo)Riviera River Cruises is excited to announce a new brochure highlighting its new and best-selling itineraries, solo traveler cruises, and onboard amenities and dining options for 2022 and 2023.

Riviera’s newest itinerary is the eight-day Amsterdam, Cologne and the Best of Holland & Flanders River Cruise, which in 2022 includes an excursion to the once-in-a-decade Floriade Expo in Almere, Netherlands. On board Riviera ships, guests will also find new Local Flavors dining options and the unique, new benefits of Riviera Plus.

“As we prepare to begin a new season on Europe’s rivers and waterways, we have a new brochure for travel advisors that’s filled with information about our offerings for 2022 and 2023,” said Marilyn Conroy, Riviera River Cruises’ Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing North America. “Learn about our itineraries, onboard amenities, excursions and our happiness guarantee – your client will be happy by the second day of their cruise or we’ll assist in bringing them home with a full refund. And, of course, we remain the one river cruise line that only accepts bookings through advisors, completely supporting our agency partners.”

Highlights of the new brochure include:

Amsterdam, Cologne and the Best of Holland & Flanders River Cruise: Guests on this new itinerary will travel the Dutch waterways and Rhine River from the capital of the Netherlands to maritime Rotterdam, medieval Ghent and Belgium’s second city, Antwerp, before arriving in magnificent Cologne. On 2022 departures, guests have the option of either a full-day excursion to the Floriade Expo in Almere, outside Amsterdam, or a morning visit to Floriade with free time in Amsterdam in the afternoon. Floriade, the largest public event in the Netherlands, is the World’s Fair of horticulture. Guests will enjoy the colors and scents of a stunning array of flowers, plants, fruits and vegetables, inspiring presentations by 40 countries, a spectacular greenhouse complex, a cable car over the Floriade park, pavilions with sustainable innovations, and a vibrant arts and culture program.

Solo traveler cruises: Eight of Riviera’s best-selling itineraries are also available as solo traveler cruises. These exclusive departures on select dates are available with no single supplement for any cabin or suite across the entire ship.

Expanded dining options: Across Riviera’s fleet, chefs in the main restaurants will prepare Local Flavors dishes every evening inspired by the regions cruises are passing through, such as traditional Hungarian soup flavored with smoky paprika, French cassoulet bursting with flavor or an indulgent Dutch dessert. Expert sommeliers will also carefully select a choice of wines showcasing popular and lesser-known grape varieties, with some produced just yards from the ship. Additionally, stern restaurants will be transformed into the more intimate Riverview Kitchen, seating no more than 28 guests. On cruises through France, classic charcuterie, regional cheeses and traditional boulangerie are available, while classic European dishes are served on Rhine and Danube cruises, all accompanied by wonderful vistas.

Riviera Plus: Guests in all deluxe and superior suites and all upper-deck cabins will receive unique, new benefits, including use of a smart handset with maps, translator, currency converter, unlimited calls, text messages and internet service while on board or ashore; L’Occitane en Provence toiletries for that extra touch of luxury; a bottle of chilled Prosecco on arrival; a platter of fresh seasonal fruits during the cruise; and an aperitif each evening.

Riviera River Cruises offers 20 itineraries on 10 rivers and waterways, including exclusive departures for solo travelers with no single supplement and holiday season cruises. Riviera’s fleet of 12 world-class ships is one of the youngest in Europe, with spacious cabins and suites, and its cruises include fine culinary experiences, from splendid breakfasts to four-course dinners featuring regional and international specialties, as well as expert-led excursions to classic sights and lesser-known places.
