How Polar Class (5) and the X-BOW allow cruise vessels to spend more time in polar areas
Lindblad Expeditions’ ‘Endurance’ and ‘Resolution’ were the first passenger vessels to meet the Polar Class (5) ice strengthening regulation. This, in combination with the X-BOW design, allows the shipowner to spend more time in polar areas.
