The attorney nominated by Safer Cleaner Ships to defend Key West’s right to curtail cruise ships against anticipated lawsuits has “conflicts related to cruise lines.” Joe Jacquot, who also represented the Safer Cleaner Ships committee, revealed the conflicts in a Sept. 28 email to Key West City Attorney Shawn Smith.
