Cruising restarts in Le Havre with the arrival of Marella Explorer 2
On September 8, Le Havre welcomed cruiseships back to the city with the arrival of Marella Explorer 2 on a maiden call.
Captain Richard Watkins and hotel director Nic Spanoudes were welcomed by the Cruise Club Team during a friendly plaque exchange in the terminal.
The local community will once again have sight of returning ships along with some newcomers. Bookings so far during September and October include Mein Schiff 6 and 8, Le Commandant Charcot and Le Champlain, Artania, Amera on her inaugural call, Amadea, Marina and Ryndam.
The tourist office teams in charge of the cruise terminals’ management have established protocols in order to guarantee full compliance with sanitary regulations.
