MarineXchange provides free licenses of MXP Protect

MarineXchange (Logo)“We at MarineXchange want to do our part and will therefore provide free licences for the thermal imaging/facial recognition software solution to all cruise companies,” says Hannes Lindthaler, Managing Director of MarineXchange Software.

The thermal imaging/facial recognition solution is part of an array of specific software features that make up MXP Protect. Since guests, crew and visitors can be continuously monitored via thermal scanners, measures can be taken quickly and proactively. Via the provided API, integration to other common shipboard systems is possible but is subject to the limitation of those systems.

About MarineXchange

With the MXP software suite, MarineXchange offers the only enterprise software platform for the cruise industry. It provides a complete portfolio of powerful tools to better manage cruise-ship operations at the office and onboard ships. This includes the management of all pre-cruise and onboard sales and the largest offering of mobile applications specifically designed for the cruise industry.

Through interfaces, MXP data flows to other systems like the company website, reservations, financial systems, or data warehouses. MXP provides a “best practices” approach and is fully GDPR and SOX compliant. It allows cruise lines to manage all guest and crew data in real time with best-in-class software in a fully integrated environment. Automatic data distribution between the ships and the office provides an unprecedented degree of insight.

MarineXchange MXP software is used by over 30 ocean, river and expeditions cruise lines on more than 300 installations.

MXP Protect is an array of important new features and hardware, that seamlessly integrate in the MXP application platform or can be used as standalone application. MXP Protect allows cruise companies to implement controlled processes across critical areas of shipboard operation and to ensure the safety of all onboard.
