Two passenger ships to be built in St. Petersburg

Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard has concluded an agreement with State Transport Leasing Company for the construction of two Project A45-90.2 passenger vessels for Krasnoyarsk Kray, a spokesperson for the yard told Saint-Petersburg TV Channel.

The passenger capacity of the vessels is 245 people, they are designed to be deployed on routes up to 5 thousand kilometers long.

The vessels will have a restaurant, a bar, a fitness center with two saunas, a business office and a luggage room on board. First, second and third class cabins will be located on three decks. There will be also cabins for people with special needs.

When delivered, the ships will be deployed carrying passengers on the Krasnoyarsk – Dudinka route on the River Yenisei in Siberia.

According to the procurement documents, the order is worth 5.27 billion rubles (66.9 million dollars). The first vessels is to be delivered in 2023, and the second in 2024.
