Update: More Cruise Ports Turning Away or Quarantining Ships Due to Coronavirus Fears

(Updated: 9:33 a.m. ET) — Three cruise ships have been denied entry to three cruise ports due to fears surrounding the coronavirus. Holland America Line’s Westerdam was prevented from docking in Manila; AIDAperla has been turned away from two Caribbean ports — St. Lucia and Dominica — and Princess Cruises’ Diamond Princess was quarantined in Yokohama, Japan, before the line was forced to cancel the next cruise to carry out a deep clean on the ship.
